About the role.

Provide direct patient care to employees. Responsible for initializing medical care for administer immunizations and medications, and provide health counseling and and/or recommend appropriate treatment.Develop and implement health programs for employees, supervisors, and managers. Coordinate and facilitate health and wellness initiatives like exercise, smoking cessation, and stress reduction programs. Collaborate with other professionals, such as industrial hygienists and ergonomists, to identify and mitigate workplace hazards and promote safe work practices.Manages the site's return to work program with support from operation leaders, Fitness for Duty and Physical Capabilities Program, including follow-up with employees on the jobs they are returning to and provides continual communication to management on employee work restrictions and changes to their physical limitations/abilities. Partnering with the safety manager and being a key liaison to workers' compensation and claims branches. Oversee the ongoing process of updating and development of the Functional Job Analysis.Lead annual Drug-Free Workplace Training and Reasonable Suspicion trainingSkills: 

Role will be exposed to industrial safety programs, ergonomic programs, a variety of health & wellness programs, and Disability/Compensation Laws and policies, including continuous updating of the same.Must beable to maintain updated certification for First Aid, CPR & AED, and maintain accreditation for managing the plant Hearing Conservation program.
