Role Details:
Reporting to the Occupational Hygienist, you will be responsible for contributing to the capacity of the company to mine safely and lawfully by assisting in meeting legislative obligations through the effective provision of occupational health and hygiene technical services to stakeholders.

This role is offered on 2 x 8 days on 6 days off, 4 days on and 3 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
Contribute and assist to drive improvement in the overall effectiveness of the Occupational Hygiene program and champion worker health
Accurately maintain the sites Health Management Plan and conduct Health Risk Assessments
Assist in fulfilling the statutory roles of Mine Air Quality Officer and Noise Officer
Perform Occupational Hygiene sampling in a timely and consistent manner to Australian standards, site schedules and legislative requirements
Ensure scheduled maintenance and calibration of occupational hygiene equipment is completed
Conduct occupational noise and ventilation surveys
Provide respiratory and hearing protection fit testing and advice
Assist with the development and implementation of a health monitoring program
About you:
Hold current Surface Ventilation Officer and Noise Officer qualifications and capabilities
Hold postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Hygiene or be working towards (highly regarded)
Membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists or ability to obtain
Strong computer skills, attention to detail and communication skills are all highly regarded
Possess a valid manual driver’s Licence
