Job Summary
The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing "Athletic Training, Prevention and Wellness Services" to clients, employees, and other patients under a supervising physician and in direct contact with Novant Health Employer Solutions / Occupational Medicine leadership and providers. Primary role includes; injury prevention techniques, job hazard analysis, ergonomic assessments, first aid and injury care. Meets the professional, clinical, technical, communication and documentation requirements and standards and makes decisions based on established guidelines.

Qualifications
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years collegiate or professional experience, recommended but not required.
+ Licensure/Certification: Current AT Licensure in appropriate state, required. Current BOC Certification, required.
+ Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
+ Additional Skills (preferred): Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, XPS, CES national certification(s). Ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
