YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

As a specialist in occupational safety, you take on the safety-related supervision of laboratory areasAdvising management and employees on occupational safety issues is part of your responsibilitiesYou lead investigations of work accidents, evaluate the results, and derive measures for accident prevention, including accident documentationYou moderate and conduct risk assessmentsRegular inspections of workplaces, documentation, and follow-up of measures are within your area of responsibilityYou organize and conduct HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) training for employees, executives, and designated persons (e.g., safety officers)Ensuring HSE compliance and actively implementing legal requirements within the organization are part of your tasksIn collaboration with employee representatives and occupational physicians, you optimize existing processes in the context of continuous improvement

You have a completed degree in engineering (Master's, Diploma) specializing in process engineering, chemistry, safety engineering, or equivalentCompletion of training as a specialist in occupational safety (industry-specific approval by BG RCI) is part of your profileYou already have initial professional experience in the field of occupational safetyYou have very good knowledge of occupational safety regulations and specific technical standards, especially regarding laboratory safety, hazardous substances, biological agents, and pharmaceutical active substances. Knowledge of machine safety is advantageousYou have good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote. Knowledge of Power BI is advantageousYou possess a high level of social competence, assertiveness, as well as an independent, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to workExperience in team moderation, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, are among your strengthsVery good German and English language skills complete your profile
