Occupational Therapist

We are currently seeking a Full time, Occupational Therapist, at Belmont Behavioral Hospital.

The Occupational Therapist position:

Provides quality care along with associated assessments and documentation to patients at Belmont Campus through individual and group treatments administered in collaboration with the patients’ treatment teams.  Under the supervision of the Supervisor, OT Clinical, and in collaboration with fellow program coordinators, create, coordinate and disseminate evidenced based programming for Clinical and Education Services  staff while working collaboratively with other departments in the provision of cohesive programming which addresses the individual needs of patients at Belmont Behavioral Hospital.  Designs and supervises professional training of OT and COTA students.  Design and implement OT interventions, programming and protocols specific to discipline.  Enhance programming on assigned units.  Develops and implements a professional training programs for staff within and outside of RSD as applicable. 

The Occupational Therapist position requires a Master's degree is Occupational Therapy, as well as working as an Occupational Therapist in a community or inpatient setting (psychiatric experience preferred).  Board Certified in Occupational Therapy through NBCOT and a Pennsylvania license in Occupational Therapy, required.
