This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with elementary and middle school students—supporting their growth and development from now until June 2nd, 2025. Key Responsibilities: + Design & Implement: Create, implement, and refine cutting-edge occupational therapy programs that align with the school’s values and goals. + Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized intervention plans, and provide direct therapy to support students’ functional skills in their educational environment. + Collaborative Approach: Partner with teachers, staff, and families to ensure everyone is on the same page when it comes to helping students thrive. + IEP Development: Play a vital role in developing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), contributing to a roadmap for student success. + Evidence-Based Interventions: Use the latest research-backed therapies to address students' needs, helping them gain the skills they need to succeed in daily life and school activities. + Accurate Documentation: Maintain detailed, up-to-date records in accordance with district policies, ensuring compliance and quality care for students. What We’re Looking For: + Education: A Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. + License: A valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) + Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but a genuine passion for supporting students is key.
