Website: https://www.stmarysregional.com Position Summary: Responsible for the development, administration, and implementation of OT treatment programs for inpatients/outpatients and injured workers including patients in the skilled nursing facility. Responsible for appropriate documentation. Supervises supportive OT personnel. Serve as a liaison upon discharge. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Implements patient care in a knowledgeable and skillful manner, maintaining a high quality of work performance in all areas. Demonstrates the ability to provide the proper assistance, verbal cueing, and etc. necessary for optimal performance. Demonstrates the ability to evaluate patients and establish an appropriate plan of care, adapting the plan of care to patient/caregiver needs and goals. Demonstrates the ability to instruct patients and/or caregivers in treatment procedures, home programs, orthotics/prosthetics and special equipment using clear verbal and/or written instructions. Demonstrates the ability to use time effectively by delegating an appropriate portion of treatment to trained support personnel. Demonstrates ability to write functional goals and re-assess patient progress towards goals when appropriate, adjusting the plan of care as needed. Eligible for or holds current Occupational Therapist licensure to practice in the State of Oklahoma required. BLS required. Previous experience preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Typing and basic computer skills required.
