Position Requirement:
CAPTE-accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.Occupational Therapists must have credentials recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).A minimum of two years of experience in hospital or ambulatory care settings Key Responsibilities:Assess patients for physical, mental, and cognitive deficits to determine functional challenges.Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs.Utilize data-driven approaches to create personalized therapy programs.Select and apply therapy techniques best suited to each patient’s condition for maximum results.Evaluate and recommend adaptive equipment, including manual wheelchairs, splints, braces, and other durable medical equipment (DME).Assess therapeutic activities and necessary adaptations to support patient success.Provide specialized occupational therapy treatments, including:Therapeutic exercisesNeuromuscular re-educationCognitive therapyFunctional activity trainingUpper extremity pain prevention and treatmentAdaptive equipment evaluations and prescriptionsWound and lymphedema careCustom splint fabricationWhat We Offer:💼 Full-time | 40 hours per week
