Rates: $30.82/hour Training Rate  - $45.00/hour EI Therapy - $31.00/session PS Therapy - $110.00/eval EI Evaluations - $85.00/eval PS Evaluations

The Registered Occupational Therapist is responsible to evaluate and assess program participants, educate individuals and team members, complete required documentation, communicate with other health care professionals.

 

Core Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess program participants on an ongoing basis. Plan and implement appropriate treatment and goals based upon the evaluation. Educate individuals and/or team members about findings of the evaluation, established treatment plants, methods of treatment. Educate team members about on-going services, injury prevention, range of motion, positioning and any other area within the scope of occupational therapy Complete all required documentation according to program regulations. Participate in activities as part of the treatment team that may include meetings, trainings and committees. Assist in orienting students, volunteers and new therapists within the program; provide supervision for therapy assistants as required.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy plus must be registered. Current OTR licensure Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.
