Astria Health is seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team! This position is for Home Health in Yakima, WA.

 

What you get to do every day!

 

As the Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing Occupational Therapy evaluations and treatment to patients using evidence-based interventions guided by best practice. You will:

 

Evaluates patients and interprets evaluation findings to determine appropriate plan of care. Establish treatment goals and plans to achieve objectives, Implement treatment programs through direct treatment of the patient, When needed, delegate portions of treatment plans to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Provide advice and education to patient, family and designated caregivers, Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment, progress and the need to modify goals and treatment, Initiate discharge from therapy when patient has received maximum benefit from occupational therapy, Oversee all documentation in a timely manner for the physical therapy patient management, Other duties as assigned,Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries,Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.

Required Qualifications and Education.

Master’s degree from accredited program for Occupational Therapy. Current Washington State Occupational Therapy license or eligible. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Member in good standing NBCOT. Demonstrated knowledge with industry standards related to patient care and safety. Oral and written fluency in the English language.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Education.

Bilingual speaking English/Spanish One year hospital, pediatric or out patient therapy experience
