Occupational Therapist (intermittent)
Job Description: Ohio University Therapy Associates ( OUTA ) is seeking applicants for a per diem Occupational Therapist. OUTA has been providing physical therapy services and clinical education to the Southeastern Ohio area since 1984. Initially founded as a faculty-based practice, Therapy Associates clinicians now work in a variety of settings through their own clinics, as well as contracts with local facilities. Incumbents will deliver occupational therapy services at assigned facilities in a hospital based setting with inpatient and outpatient treatment including: documentation, participation in staff meetings, supervision of COTA and Aides, and other duties as necessary. This opening will report to the Manager of Therapy Services at OhioHealth O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities may also include working with the faculty and students in the Division of Physical Therapy at Ohio University. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must currently be licensed to practice occupational therapy in the State of Ohio. Applicants must have a degree in occupational therapy from an accredited university. At least 3 years of experience working as an occupational therapist. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care as well out outpatient ortho and neuro.
