Education & Certification: + Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. + Degree Requirements: + Bachelor's degree required if graduated before January 1, 2002. + Master’s degree required if graduated after January 1, 2002. + International candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; a Master’s degree is preferred. + Must hold or be eligible for an Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment). + CPR certification required within the first 90 days of employment. + Must maintain all certifications and licensure per expiration dates. + American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) membership preferred. Experience & Skills: + Previous work experience preferred but not required, aside from clinical training within an educational program. + Strong verbal and written communication skills required. + Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds of shared lifting. + Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned. Additional Requirements: + If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver's license is required. + If driving a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.
