care coupled with the healing environment offered by this unit shortens length of stay and allows our patients a quicker and healthier return to home OverviewWersquore seeking a dedicated and caring Occupational Therapist OT who would like the opportunity to be part of a team with a patient centered approach which brings decades of experience in providing the most innovative care This position will treat patients with all diagnoses with a focus on stroke traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries as well as other neurological conditions Our Inpatient Rehab Unit features a collaborative interdisciplinary team atmosphere and approach to patient care This is a great opportunity to work in a special inpatient rehab setting while still having access to the opportunities and benefits available in a system with a full continuum of rehab carePosition DescriptionPer diem opening Flexible scheduleMinimum of hours days per month requirement One hour shift must be on weekend the other hour shift can be during week or on the weekend pending needavailability Holiday availability preferredThe Occupational Therapist OT independently evaluates patientsrsquo level of function and determines develops and implements individualized treatment goals and plans in alignment with the patientcaregiver goals The Occupational Therapist OT determines treatment strategies and delivers Occupational Therapy services that promote health and wellness prevent injury or disability improve and develop self dependency and maintenance productivity leisure perceptual motor function rest mental cognitive physical sensory perceptual psychosocial developmental and emotional wellbeing in a variety of contexts and environments in order to maximize function in the areas of daily living leisurerecreation and productivityworkThe Occupational Therapist OT delegates patient care responsibilities to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA This role encompasses evaluation skills and
