You'll design and deliver customized therapy plans that help patients regain independence and improve quality of life. You’ll collaborate with healthcare professionals, support and mentor team members, and make a lasting impact across a wide range of patient ages and conditions.
What You’ll Do:
Evaluate patients and create personalized treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy, education, and discharge planning
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff for holistic care
Supervise OT Assistants, Rehab Techs, and students
Maintain accurate documentation per department policies
Help train healthcare staff in OT methods and goals
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-equipped treatment space
Support departmental quality improvement initiatives
Stay current on OT best practices and maintain professional competencies
Lead or participate in department programs and committees
Deliver culturally sensitive care that’s appropriate to each patient's age and needs
Represent the department with professionalism, courtesy, and respect
Adhere to compliance policies, participate in training, and meet all regulatory requirements
What You’ll Need:
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current Missouri OT license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility
Physical capability to demonstrate movement and motor skills
BLS certification (must be maintained throughout employment)
