**Job Summary and Qualifications**
We are seeking a(an) Occupational Therapy Assistant for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? **What you will do in this role:**
+ You will accurately follow established treatment plan to set measurable and achievable goals to reach maximum functional independence for Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL's).
+ You will record, monitor, and review clinical data, providing feedback to Occupational Therapist regarding possible modifications to treatment plan and goals based upon patient performance.
+ You will, within scope of practice and under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, adapt recognized therapeutic techniques and modalities to meet the needs of the patient.
+ You will participate in rounding and proactively responds to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively affect overall patient experience.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from American Occupational Therapy Association
+ Experience in appropriate healthcare setting preferred.
+ Current Florida COTA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) License
+ Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association
+ Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions; PC skills
+ Ability to lift 50lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
