Responsible for mentoring Assistants, Technicians, and Students. Collaborates with other healthcare team members and physicians in a multi-disciplinary fashion to deliver the highest quality of care. Promote department and hospital. **Other information:** **Qualifications** **EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS** + Associate degree from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT** + None **LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION** + Current NC Board of Occupational Therapy license. Occupational Therapist Assistant license or eligible. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS** + Analytical abilities to delegate personnel, problem solve with positive solutions. Good interpersonal and communication skills required to facilitate interactions with stated customers and staff members. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** + Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, temperature changes and occasional noxious odors. Stressful work periods occasionally encountered. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT** + Standing for most of the day lifting/assisting patients with transfers, bed mobility and ambulation as well as their exercise programs.
