Job Description

This position will be placed in Jakarta

Scope of Position

Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Export Department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemUnderstand all the elements of Ocean DLSOP in Indonesia and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customers’ instructions and expectations.Track and Trace Ocean Export Files and reportingMeet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulationsUnderstand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivityEnsure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in the DLSOPsOverseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)Utilize all technology tools available in the company to perform customer service and operations duties.Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

QualificationsUnderstanding of ocean documentation process a plusEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsPro-active, strong organizational skillsGood computer skills (Excel, Word)Must be ready to work overtime if/when necessary.Fluent in English
