Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for ensuring and guaranteeing operational excellence by adhering to Ocean Operations processes, utilizing the appropriate tools, and monitoring team performance. The role also focuses on identifying and providing solutions for internal customers to achieve the company’s objectives. Additionally, this position involves executing operational activities within the assigned team.
QualificationsTasks and Duties
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the DLSOP Plan and support with huddles and monthly meetings to discuss market intelligence and delegate workloads within the team. Take an active role in the transition of new business/ updates to existing business. Support all compliance efforts and trainings. Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas to improve efficiency. Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into the department. Be involved and suggest system/process improvements. Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors (Shipping lines, trucking companies, and others) Assist the Manager with EPE’s on the department in line with the 3+1 Initiatives.
