This position is dependent on partnership with Central Process Equipment Engineering, Process and Equipment Engineering, Cost Teams, Global Procurement, Global Quality, and other business partners to achieve Micron’s strategic objective and goals.Responsibilities :Lead/Support the spare management improvement activities with multi-functional groups such as Technology Development, Manufacturing, Global Procurement and internal Operation Central Team to meet Global Operation’s Strategies Programs - Cost/Scale/Quality/Cycle Time (Speed) goal
Provide technical consulting and hands-on assistance to Fab area teams to create and/or identify the best solutions, solve existing solutions, and deploy new solutions.
Promote worldwide sharing and transfer of area-specific domain knowledge
Lead or drive standardization between sites regarding spare management issue, reports, and systems through the System Workforce Allocation Team (SWAT) or other appropriate means.
Monitor and communicate progress to collaborators
Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders
Improve Spares performance thru supplier engagement, and design & customize parts thru partnership with spares supplier
Lead spares quality project management to improve spares quality performance
Qualifications Requirements:Good communication skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience in equipment engineering at a semiconductor company
Dry-etch experience preferred, but open to other process areas as well
Wafer manufacturing spares cost management experience preferred
Project management experience preferred
Spares quality related experience preferred
Open to business travel based on business needs.
