What You’ll Be Doing
In this brand new position, you will be responsible for growing current Trimble civil construction OEM customer accounts. As the OEM Account Manager for Korea, you will be responsible for working with current customers to understand their business needs and uncover pain points, and demonstrating how Trimble can address their critical business needs whether it be through growth or expansion of the Trimble portfolio. You will help our OEM customers end to end through their development and buying process, while working collaboratively with our engineering and sales teams. Your day to day tasks will include:
Developing and closing medium and large integration agreements for Trimble civil construction solutions including software subscriptions. Emphasis will be placed on managing customer relationships for growth and global expansion, as well as identifying and converting new opportunities outside of the Korean market.
Uncover and expand opportunities by working with multiple customer personas and expanding scope and relationships within our OEM customer base
Understanding OEM customer’s needs and identifying sales opportunities by constantly building pipeline
Keeping up with product information and enhancements as well as relevant industry updates through collaboration with our product managers and regional sales manage
Research, develop, and maintain long- and short-range sales plans and forecasts
Closing sales and achieving sales forecasts
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
5+ years of experience successfully selling technology solutions or heavy machinery into the civil construction market
Strong command of English and native Korean languages, verbal and written
Exemplary presentation and communication across all levels of an organisation.
A genuine commitment to strategy, customer relations and negotiating win-win outcomes.
Willingness to take disciplined risks
Able to set priorities appropriate for short and long-term objectives
Maintains sense of urgency; appropriate impatience
Ability to modify behaviour/approach in different situations
Keeps up to date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time, mostly locally but occasionally internationally.
