Sales Manager - OEM Sales Pune
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: #Li_onsiteThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Pune, India. You will be mainly accountable for:•Identify opportunities and drive sales for industrial automation products and solution.•Achieving the sales growth in the respective sales region as per the planned budget.•Build long-term relationships with OEMs and channel partners.•Expand industry verticals and secure new OEM accounts.•Develop and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.•Ensure smooth project execution and post-sale support.•Participate in exhibitions, demos, and monitor market trends.•Regular meetings to understand customer needs and promote additional products.•Update CRM, track customer satisfaction, and monitor market conditions.
Qualifications for the roleB.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering with 3-8 years in industrial automation sales, especially in OEM markets.Proven sales success in industrial automation.Strong technical understanding of automation systems (PLCs, HMI, Servo Drive & motors, VFDs).Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Experience with OEM market trends and customer requirements.Fluency in English & local language like Hindi. Willing to travel up to 60% within the region.Experience with leading automation systems (Siemens, Rockwell, Omron, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi etc.) is an advantage.Experience with machine OEMs in industries such as Packaging, Plastics, Printing, Pharma, etc. is a plus
