We have an opportunity for Head of Offering (Product)\nManagement to join us at Honeywell in Turkey, Istanbul. In this role you’ll be\nresponsible of leading a regional team of Offering Specialists who manage a\nvast portfolio of Building Automation products (Fire, Security & Building\nManagement Systems) across Middle East, Turkiye and Africa.

Offering Management Team’s job scope consists of developing\nand optimizing an offering portfolio strategy based on customer insights;\ncompetitive and market intelligence, and executing that strategy to optimize\nthe offerings, market position, organic growth, and financial return of the\nproduct portfolio across the product lifecycle. Head of Offering Managers work\nclosely with cross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D,\nmanufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales,\nmarketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth,\ndevelopment and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio\ntoday and in the future.

Key Requirements:

Market\n Research & Competitive Landscape. Understand big-picture market\n drivers, challenges, competitors, and overall business environment.\n Identify critical gaps and execute primary/secondary research to address\n or leverage the Strategic Marketing Team to do so. Calculate the maximum\n potential market size (Total Addressable Market – TAM) with help of the\n Strategic Marketing Team, evaluate the solution for commercial viability,\n and calculate Share of Demand (SOD). Continually assess market traction and\n competitiveness to re-evaluate New Product Introductions (NPI), pricing,\n or end-of-life (EOL) actions.Voice\n of Customer & Segmentation. Able to conduct both VOC and Observational\n VOC (OVOC) by spending time with customers. Perform continuous discovery\n to identify and articulate the high value problems customers have, and the\n linkage of those problems to how customers make money. Connect key\n customer stakeholders and what our offerings do for them, and which needs\n drive purchase decisions. Evaluate sources of disruption and understand\n the customer decision journey and how to utilize key personas to transition\n to each step. Perform customer market segmentation analysis.Value\n Proposition & Competitive Positioning. Identify and state the target\n segment and problem to be solved in value propositions. Understand the\n value drivers and quantify them relative to the Next Best Alternative in\n value propositions. Perform competitive analysis of Honeywell products and\n services vs. the Next Best Alternatives. Work with Customer Marketing (CM)\n & Commercial Excellence Teams (CE) (i.e. Sales and Service) to\n communicate value propositions and their monetary values to the customer. New\n Offering Management. Translate customer and business needs into actionable\n product requirements. Provide customer marketing with appropriate\n information on offering, target segments and value propositions for\n effective sales collateral and campaigns. Ensure requirements of each\n participating function are accurately represented in the product plan and\n launch timeline.Business\n Models & Pricing. Define the appropriate value capture model (one-time\n sale, subscription, service, outcome-based, etc.) and pricing strategy\n based on appropriate value share relative to Next Best Alterative, and\n ensure implementation by the commercial excellence team. Develop financial\n models for new and current offering, quantifying and balancing expected\n revenue against investment and ongoing fixed and variable costs to\n estimate projected margin, operating income, revenue, and return on investment.\n Develop a negotiation walk to close a sale for/with sales. Utilize a\n management operating system (MOS) to track pricing – PVA (price-volume\n analysis), etc. Demonstrate variable margin understanding and the linkage\n pricing has to margin performance.

Key skills and qualifications

Manager\n with 7+ years of experience in [Product Management, Marketing,\n R&D/Engineering and/or in an offering-specific domain], with a track\n record of demonstrated, recognizable results.4+\n years of managerial experienceAn\n undergraduate degree is required, preferably in an analytical (e.g.\n economics, math, engineering, marketing, management, etc. or technical\n discipline]
