Summit Search Group has proudly partnered with Master Roofing on the search for an Office Administrator for their busy family owned Roofing Company. This successful candidate will be working closely with their team to ensure smooth operations, accurate financial tracking, and effective office administration.

Position:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Office Administrator to efficiently handle a variety of administrative tasks, including project accounting, coordination, and office management. Our office is fast-paced, so the ideal candidate will excel at multitasking while ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Accounting & Coordination: Track project extras, job costing, and ensure billing accuracy. Manage progress billing and change orders. Bookkeeping: Handle payables and receivables, payroll, EI reports, and reconciliation. Perform AR management and journal entries. Office Management: Oversee office upkeep, file management, data management (including email lists), and mail distribution. Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks for financial tasks and maintain effective file loading and distribution. Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with team members and manage relationships with external parties. Provide administrative support to the accounting team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in office administration with a strong background in project accounting specific to the construction industry. Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage time effectively. Soft Skills: Dedicated, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to learn from mistakes. Demonstrated flexibility with a strong sense of time management. Able to work independently and in a team
