Opportunity Overview
Hologic is seeking an Office Administrator to serve as a key team member in the company’s Washington, DC office. Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, Government Affairs and Corporate Communications, the ideal candidate will be an accomplished and team-oriented administrative professional with experience managing a congressional, non-profit, or corporate government affairs office, with a keen interest in women’s health.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Washington, DC-based team as well as individuals throughout the company, and make meaningful contributions to Hologic’s government affairs, communications, partnership development and overall advocacy strategy.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the DC office and ensure it runs smoothly Organize and manage calendars, schedule meetings, arrange travel and coordinate meetings and events Prepare and edit documents, reports and presentations Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing system and ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards. Assist in annual budget preparation, track department spending data for accruals and budgeting activities, process invoices, and work closely with department leadership and Finance team. Manage projects and workstreams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget Collaborate with other members of the administrative team to provide seamless support for all executive leadership related activities Take responsibility for critical tasks related to lobbying filings Support organizing, preparing for and completing government VIP visits to company sites and other eventsEssential Qualifications
Demonstrable experience as an office manager or executive assistant, ideally supporting senior executives or elected officials Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality Skill to coordinate your own work and that of the executives and teams you are supporting Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in office software and other specialized software for project management, scheduling and financial management Understanding of budgeting and expense management Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected challenges Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness and reasoning to solve issues Positive and poised outlook in a dynamic team environment The ability to travel periodically and work outside regular business hours as needed. Minimum of ten years of experience providing office management and executive administrative support required. Corporate or Capital Hill experience preferred.Additional Details:
The annualized base salary range for this role is $99,700 to $156,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.Agency and Third Party Recruiter Notice:
