Hiring Unit:
Department of Performance, Schulich School of Music
Primary Duties:
To assist the Area Chair in administration of String Area activities: contacting guest artists for masterclasses, preparation of concert assignments for ensembles, coordinating String Area concerts and other related duties.
Hours/Week & Schedule:
2.5 hours weekly, approx. 13 week/term duration. The supervisor shall determine work schedules, dependent on the needs of the unit.
Qualifications Required:
Thorough knowledge of string instruments and the program. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and music publishing software. Familiarity with managing and distributing information via email.
Students of the Schulich School of Music preferred.
