Aplin has partnered with our client to recruit an Office Assistant/Receptionist based in Winnipeg for an immediate temporary opportunity that could become temporary to hire.
Our client is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is reliable and approachable to fill the position of Office Assistant / Receptionist. This position is within Filing Department of a very large and busy Corporate organization and provides Reception coverage for the Executive Floor.
Responsibilities:This position will have a variety of responsibilities including filing, data entry and scanningProvide support coverage to the Front Desk Reception area during vacation, and lunch hours on the corporate / executive floor Organize courier requestsGreet visitors, handle incoming calls, and record messagesEmailing internal departments and responding to email requestsAssist with sanitizing office equipment such as printers and photocopiers as required as part of the team's responsibilitiesVarious administrative duties as assignedQualifications:2+ years of experience within an office environment including Reception, Data Entry and FilingPost secondary education in Business Administration is an asset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Enjoy being part of a team, personable, flexible, and professionalProactive, efficient, reliable, approachable, and flexible to meet the demands of the departmental needs, multi-tasking as requiredPrevious experience in a Corporate office is an asset
