Our client, a leading lower middle market private equity firm, is seeking a Part-Time Temporary to Permanent Office Assistant. There are 20 hours guaranteed a week divided between Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility for specific hours each day.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, set up, and break down catering for in-office meetings.Pick up lunch from the building messenger center.Keep the reception area and conference rooms looking their best (chairs tucked in, no mugs, etc.) and conference room fridges stocked.Maintain kitchen, supply stock, and general office space.Order supplies/groceries and unpack the deliveries.Maintain coffee machines.Maintain copier spaces and keep an inventory of supplies.Help with general office tasks like printing, copying, and faxing.Work closely with and back up the Receptionist (each day when she breaks, longer when she is on vacation, and on busy days).
Answer and screen phone calls phones for office of 40+.Greet and seat incoming visitors.Coordinate guest arrival with company personnel.Assist with calendar coordination for several conference room spaces.Answer main phone, route calls, and take messages.Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail and packages.Send and receive packages via messenger service.Qualifications:
Strong integrity, logical thinking, transparency, and receptiveness to feedback.Good organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.Pleasant and professional manner with excellent communication skills.Must be a positive team player who is flexible and willing to pitch in on all tasks to get the job done.Experience in a corporate setting preferred.
Compensation
