Summary
This position provides basic administrative support to Wellspring Financial Group. This role is critical to our member experience and requires a friendly, upbeat demeanor. This position supports the basic operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: answering phones, meeting/greeting members, handling/distributing postal mail, ordering supplies, and other clerical tasks that do not require computer or technology access. Individuals in this role will not have access to a computer and cannot provide services or support that requires Thrivent Financial technology or systems access. The Office Assistant reports to and is employed by Wellspring Financial Group.
Compensation is $20-25/hr.
Job Description
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
+ Greet visitors; answer, screen and direct phone calls.
+ Perform routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies, processing mail, filing and cleaning
+ Prepares or coordinates routine correspondence that does not require access to Thrivent systems such as personal notes, birthday cards, etc.
+ Assist Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetings by pulling client files, placing reminder calls, and performing other manual tasks that do not require technology access
+ Support event coordination by placing calls, obtaining bids from vendors, making reservations, ordering supplies, setting up event spaces, greeting guests and performing other manual tasks at events
+ Completes other miscellaneous tasks that are not technology related as assigned
Position Qualifications
+ Previous administrative/secretarial experience helpful
+ Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
+ Demonstrated telephone and customer relations skills.
