Design Services
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent will assist in the daily needs of the
Design Services unit, including reviewing of documents for ongoing projects and support of furniture needs.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Document corrections for ongoing projects (plans,specifications and others), in support of the architects, and to partially compensate for unfilled positions and summer Fridays, as well as summer vacations of existing employees;
-Signage support: identification of all building exterior doors, currently unidentified, and implementation of labelling. This identification is required in connection with Operation and Safety needs.
-Build a database for CFIs (by type of equipment, by location, by type of laboratories, by chemicals/gases, etc.).
-Program support and improvement of accessibility standards.
-Support for furniture projects.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
English and French spoken and written.
