GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position oversees the file room at the WOGCC and is the curator of over 100,000 well files. The position is responsible for a portion of the bond release process, converting electronic logs to prepare them for import into our system, and performing other administrative duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.
+ Curator of well files. This involves all of the paperwork generated by the Commission each year including but not limited to sundries, completion reports, logs, change of owner forms and APDs.
+ The position also aids the public accessing files and ensuring the files are placed back in the correct location.
+ Well Log processing. This position is responsible for checking well logs to ensure the log is for the correct well and ensuring the correct file formats are present.
+ Bond Releases. Once a well has been plugged this position reviews the well file to ensure that all required information is present. If the information is not available this position is responsible for contacting the operator to obtain the information.
+ This position aids other staff with administrative duties as assigned by the positions supervisor.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE:
+ The ability to effectively organize tasks and perform them with a high degree of accuracy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications)
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications)
