Office Clerk Description: ALCAL SPECIALTY CONTRACTING, INC. IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR A N OFFICE CLERK POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly LOCATION: Portland, OR WAGE SCALE: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour BENEFITS & PERKS: + Medical, Dental, Vision & Retirement plans + Paid time off - Vacation, Sick & Holidays + Monday- Friday Schedule + Room for growth and be a part of an amazing team RESPONSIBILITIES : + Process new hire paperwork for field employees + Answering multiple phone lines and directing inbound calls to appropriate party + Creates and maintains various files including field employees and job files + Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail + Various administration duties + Purchasing and receiving + Payroll back-up + Accident reports and leak reports + Ordering sufficient materials for jobs + Receiving invoices from vendors + Creating correspondences, faxes, etc. for Management + Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected QUALIFICATIONS : + Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers and managers. + Previous experience in a construction office environment is highly desired but not required. + Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills. + Knowledge on the usage of PC and other office equipment + Knowledge of a variety of software including but not limited to MS Office applications and SAP + Regular attendance is required. + Valid OR Driver’s License COMPANY : Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc.
