Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Office Clerk to manage and sort incoming and outgoing corporate mail and provide property operations support. The ideal candidate will ensure timely distribution of legal documents, maintain accurate records, support operations reporting and contribute to the efficient operation in a confidential and professional manner.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Sort and distribute incoming mail, prioritizing legal correspondence and time-sensitive documents for distribution to property operations and applicable recipients.
+ Prepare, package, and process outgoing legal mail, ensuring compliance with delivery requirements (e.g., certified or registered mail).
+ Support operations needs with tracking, reporting, routing, and distribution of documents and mail as needed.
+ Maintain accurate logs and tracking records for all legal and operations documents and sensitive materials.
+ Coordinate with delivery services (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS) for pickups and deliveries of correspondence.
+ Communicate with internal departments regarding the receipt and distribution of mail and related operations inquiries.
+ Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive legal materials.
+ Maintain an organized and clean work area with the handling of sensitive documents.
+ Provide administrative support of reasonable accommodation housing request.
+ Support other administrative tasks when assigned.

Required Education and Experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in a mailroom, administrative, or legal environment is preferred.
+ Familiarity with handling legal mail and document management is a plus.
+ Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and handle confidential materials with discretion.
+ Basic computer skills, including email, tracking systems, and document management tools.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
+ Work is performed indoors and outdoors in an office setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, people, and equipment.
+ Able to work independently or as a team member and support managers with special projects.
+ Strong collaboration skills – works well across functional areas—excellent relationship-building skills; able to collaborate with various levels of the organization.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Expected Hours of Work & Travel
+ Part time 20 to 25 hours per week expected.
+ Role is in office daily Mon-Fri.
