USAID’s Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) award is a USAID-funded global award, that works in tandem with country governments and local nongovernmental organizations to provide targeted technical and capacity strengthening assistance and contribute to the global technical leadership and policy dialogue on improving measurable outcomes for maternal, reproductive, newborn and child health, and voluntary family planning. The MCGL Jordan program will provide support to the USAID/Jordan-funded Government to Government Partnership for Health in Family Planning (PHFP) program, led by the Ministry of Health (MOH), with aims to promote and provide quality family planning services to the population of Jordan.

The Coordination and Production Officer will undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks, the role will play an integral part in ensuring that the office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.

 

An excellent office coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable dealing with people and be able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed

Responsibilities Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiencyMaintain files and records with effective filing systemsSupport other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the officeMonitor office supplies inventory and place ordersAssist in vendor relationship managementResponds to employee concernsCommunicates and implements office policiesPrepares and schedules company activities, meetings, and eventsManages office suppliesManaging schedules for conference and community spacesMonitoring and ordering inventory for office and break room suppliesManaging incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail and packagesSubmitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and equipmentOrdering repairs for office equipment and maintenance, connecting with and escorting vendorsMaintain a clean and organized office environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or vocational training certificate Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field will be an added advantageMinimum of 3+ years professional experience in a structured corporate environment preferably in the development sector working on a USAID funded project.Proven experience as office coordinator or in a similar roleKnowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems and proceduresOutstanding knowledge of MS Office softwareWorking knowledge of office equipment (e.g. optical scanner)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized with the ability to prioritize and multi-taskReliable with patience and professionalism
