**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Office Coordinator is responsible for day to day administrative functions of the Bariatric Center, including but not limited to business operations, clerical, patient billing and accounting functions, medical records, reception and patient scheduling, This position has supervisory responsibilities for other office personnel.
**What responsibilities you will handle:**
+ Commands computer knowledge for operations of word processing, data base programs, spreadsheet functions, billing and patient account functions.
+ Coordinates daily work flow as well as accurate and timely production of reports and invoices.
+ Summarizes Bariatric charges for each business day, week and month.
+ Generates daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed.
+ Initiates and maintains accurate data files
+ Maintains excellent interpersonal skills with affiliate hospital departments, if applicable, for smooth information flow and knowledge of system changes.
+ Responsible for insuring smooth flow of office operations including but not limited to typing, filling, mailing of medical correspondence as well as maintaining office supply inventory.
+ Demonstrates proficiency in all interpersonal interactions and troubleshooting of problems following proper channels of communications and referral to management of appropriate issues.
+ Responsible for tracking patient charges including posting and reviewing receivables, collections, deposit and denials.
+ Demonstrates responsibility for record keeping, collection and transport of money.
+ Demonstrates good organizational skills for prioritizing and delegating with follow-up for quality and makes recommendations to management of changes or additions to office functions.
+ Develops and maintains patient scheduling systems in collaboration with medical and clinical staff.
+ Assists Manager in projects and marketing functions including maintaining tracking system for all patient and professional inquiries.
