**Description:**
Saint Francis and Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an **Office Coordinator II** to join our **Case Management Team** .
The **Office Coordinator II** is responsible for providing support to the case management, appeals and denials department. Provides administrative support to the Director and/or Manager of Case Management and its staff. Duties include collecting data for readmission, O/E observation hours and denials to support the productivity and efficiency within the department. The coordinator performs diversified office duties requiring an advanced level of administrative support functions to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department, including fax, email, teams, Kronos and Epic. Completes special assignments and assists in maintaining all standardized operational processes of the department. Prepares biweekly payroll and maintains department schedule to include tracking attendance and time off requests. Responsible to prepare on-boarding materials for new case management staff. All other duties as assigned.
**_You Will Be Responsible For_** :
+ Provides administrative support to the Director/ Manager of Case Management and case management staff to maintain and execute effective workflows by gathering, organizing and updating information in the Case Management system
+ Typing correspondence and memos, scheduling appointments and meetings, attending meetings and records meeting minutes
+ Coordinates with the case management team to ensure clerical function impacting case management services are completed. Demonstrates working knowledge of case management of both utilization review and discharge planning.
+ Maintains knowledge of Case Management policies and procedures and assists in locating specific policies when requested
+ Assists with tracking and trending case management data for process improvement opportunities.
+ Coordinates with case management team and team leaders to ensure clerical functions impacting care management services are completed.
+ Demonstrates a working knowledge of care management and scheduling functions.
+ Ensures resources are appropriately utilized, ordering offices supplies, preparation/submission of job orders and work requests, and associated office administration duties.
+ Accurately researches and compiles statistical and financial data as it relates to Case Management and finalizes data into report form.
+ Establishes and maintains good communication with staff, administration, physicians and hospital departments.
+ Exhibits and maintains a high degree of responsibility for confidential matters.
+ Answers phones and communicates in a professional manner
**_Requirements:_**
+ **Associates Degree Required** . With five (5) year’s administrative secretarial experience. Preferably in Health Services
+ Bachelor’s Degree with minimum one (1) year related experience in office or case management setting.
+ Excellent communication skills including verbal and written and implementation of these skills in telephone and interpersonal conversations. Fluency in Spanish is desirable
+ Working knowledge of Epic, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
+ Excellent Problem Solving, organizational and project management skills
