What You'll Do
The Office Experience and Events Assistant supports the Office Experience, Concierge and Events function of the Washington D.C. office. We are seeking a hospitality and service oriented, team focused and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Working under the direction of the Operations Director, the Office Experience and Events Assistant will 1) support the day-to-day office operations for the Washington D.C. office, 2) support the planning and delivery of staff affiliation and engagement initiatives. This role is essential to the culture of the Washington D.C. office and is a high visibility role, working closely with senior office leadership. The expectation is that this person is in the office five days a week, though there is some ability to work remotely occasionally.
Key Office Experience responsibilities of this role include:
Office Experience Support:
Planning and execution of our local catering strategy and food programsSupport and coordination of our internal communication strategy (including digital signage, local content creation, etc.)Support and maintenance of local office resources (including intranet site, etc.)Role will serve as the primary back-up for our front desk/ concierge services.Responsible for onsite coordination for vendors and service providersCoordination/account access management and support for staff with local catering platform and partnersSupport vendor tracking, budget maintenance, and office operation analytics review in collaboration with Office Experience Senior SpecialistAssist with documentation and maintenance of internal team and function initiatives alongside Office Experience Senior Specialist and Operations DirectorEvents & Meetings Support:
Assist in the planning, execution, and marketing of internal and external eventsProvide administrative support for marquee event programmingServe as liaison for external event vendors and local partnersProvide onsite host support for meeting and event coverage as needed

Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum 1-3 years of administrative support, or customer service experience, in a fast-paced environmentProficient computer skills: Using the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced computer skills willingness to learn new systems is relevant to the needs of the operationHospitality experience preferred. If no direct experience, an importance towards and demonstration of anticipating needs and providing efficient and flawless serviceAbility to lift/move objects up to 35 poundsFlexibility to work overtime as needed, especially when supporting key events and meetingsWho You'll Work With

Compensation Information:
We expect total annualized compensation for Washington DC-based employees to be approximately the following: Base salary between $54,000-$63,000 placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12% 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period First year annualized target total compensation: $63,504 - $74,088 (USD) At BCG, we are committed to offering a comprehensive benefit program that includes everything our employees and their families need to be well and live life to the fullest.
