What You'll Do

As an Office Experience and Events Senior Specialist, you will be the driver of making our office in Budapest and its satellite locations (Croatia, Slovenia, and Romania) the place to be. This is a maternity leave cover position, offered as a fixed-term contract for approximately 1.5 years. In this role, you will bring immense energy, creativity, and enthusiasm for managing all internal events.

 

In the capacity of an Event Specialist you’ll create great moments for all our teams by planning, coordinating, executing, and managing all tasks that supports all the internal office offline, online and hybrid / flagship company’s events while at the same time co-creating and managing the annual affiliation agenda. Within this context you’ll always arrive as the first person on site and leaving always as the last person to make sure the event serves its’ purpose to the highest standards, and for the satisfaction of all participants.  You’ll work in close cooperation with internal and external contacts, bringing in new providers if needed, using your skills as an outstanding negotiator. Your tasks will include preparing and presenting data using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as carrying out varied research. You’ll handle part of the internal communications, keep all staff posted which also includes public representation on several occasions.

As our Office Experience Specialist you’ll be taking initiative on how to strengthen affiliation within and between our cohorts and locations. You’ll enjoy taking full ownership of out of the box solutions, happily taking on the challenge of being an innovative, flexible yet proactive member of our teams to keep the office mood up. You’re looking for constant improvement in our in-office offerings to keep our communities engaged. You enjoy doing all the above in a cost-conscious and analytical way.

This position is a maternity leave cover, with an expected contract duration of around 1.5 years. Reporting to the Office Operations Senior Manager, we expect you to be an integral part of our team and company during this period by being the go-to person for all internal events and logistics, ensuring every detail is taken care of.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, tourism and/or hospitality or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.Previous event planning or project management experience.Strong negotiation skills.Experience with budget management and cost analysis.Fluency in Hungarian and English; Romanian, Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian knowledge is a great asset but not a must.You are proficient in the MS Office suite.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with high level of professionalism.Superior time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
