What You'll Do

The Co-op will work with the Office Experience team at the Advanced Capabilities Center- Boston (ACC-Boston). This role will provide hands-on experience in office management, customer service, and event coordination. The Co-op will play an integral role in delivering exceptional office experiences, managing the reception desk, and supporting the marketing and execution of internal events for staff. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while helping to enhance the workplace culture.

 

YOU'RE GOOD AT

 

The Office Experience & Events Intern plays an important role in contributing to the overall functioning of the office by providing local operations and project level support to the Senior Manager of Office Operations. Areas of support include but are not limited to, office-wide initiatives, planning and implementing company sponsored events such as the annual retreat, and other affiliation and knowledge events.

 

Events and Marketing Responsibilities

Market internal events; create marketing communications consistent with BCG branding guidelines, track and report metricsMaintain intranet pages and microsites with the most up-to-date information.Create, track responses and analyze results for various surveysProvide support for office events, affiliation event planning/coordinationProvide support for a variety of internal projects: maintain spreadsheets, create polished communications

Office Experience Responsibilities

Answers telephone and directs calls promptly and professionally to appropriate destinationGreets visitors in a professional and courteous manner and notifies pertinent individual of visitor arrivalsAssist with desk/office placement for visitorsOversees the conference room booking as requiredEnters visitors in building security visitor databaseAssist in creating a positive, welcoming, and productive environment within the office.Coordinate the delivery and setup of office supplies and equipment, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.Collaborate with facilities and other teams to address any office-related issues or requests.Assists with catering coordination for meetings as needed, establish and maintain relationships with food vendorsAssist office experience team with other tasks including but not limited to snack/beverage replenishment, set up and breakdown of coffee bar areas, help ensure all conference rooms/workstations are tidy & stocked with proper supplies.

Current college/university must have an existing co-op partnership with BCG's Global Services organization and recognize full-time employment as academic credit that will be part of the student's official transcriptMust meet the co-op program eligibility requirements of the current college/university's academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the co-op programMust be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle (July - December)Must be authorized to work in the United States
