Office Geologist Job Locations SG-Singapore ID 2025-15574 Overview

Element has an opportunity for Office Geologist for Singapore. In this role, you will be primarily role in supporting soil investigation projects. This involves analysing geological data, preparing reports, and collaborating with field teams and clients to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

 

This will be a site based position in Singapore.

 

Responsibilities

      1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Analyze soil samples, borehole logs, and other geological data collected from the field.Interpret geological and geotechnical information to assess ground conditions and identify potential hazards.Prepare geological models and cross-sections to visualize subsurface conditionReport Preparation:   Prepare detailed geological and geotechnical reports, including site investigation reports, interpretive reports, and risk assessments.Ensure reports are accurate, concise, and comply with industry standards and client requirements.Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholdersProject Coordination and Support:Collaborate with field teams to plan and coordinate soil investigation activities.Provide technical support and guidance to field staff on geological matters.Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.Assist in the preparation of proposals and tenders for soil investigation projects.Quality Control and Assurance:Ensure the quality and accuracy of geological data and interpretationsImplement quality control procedures for soil investigation activities.Review and verify field data and reports for compliance with standards

 

Skills / Qualifications Degree in civil engineering or geology, certificate in Site Investigation for Supervisors (BCA) is an advantage with 2 years’ relevant experience in major infrastructure projectsWorking experience in construction industryPhysically fit and able to withstand the challenging working conditionSelf-motivated team player with excellent organisational and communication skills
