DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise assigned staff and maintain staff schedules. Provide administrative assistance to program director and residence manager. Maintain program inventory and ordering of office and program supplies. Purchase furniture for Bronx units. Responsible for monthly HRA/TAD (Turn Around Document). Implement YARDI system. Create, maintain, and update all program forms. Maintain files and apartment leases. Complete required monthly internal and external reports. Prepare check requests/invoices (Financials). Record all meeting minutes. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA preferred. Good computer, writing and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a must. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION :
BRC maintains 390 supported apartments throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx through the HomePlus program. These apartments are dedicated for formerly homeless individuals with a history of mental illness and/or substance abuse, and are funded by a variety of state and city mental health agencies, including the NYS Office of Mental Health, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services. BRC's HomePlus operations have grown significantly in recent years, including 131 units for substance abusing, chronically homeless individuals that were brought on line in 2008 and 65 units of scattered-site housing for formerly homeless individuals with a history of mental illness that were brought on line in 2009 and 2010.
