Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Manager to accurately count and track lumber inventory using Excel and conduct physical counts across a 10-acre property. You will be responsible for managing over 7 million footage of lumber, verifying truck loads against inventory records, and ensuring the accuracy of production reporting.
ResponsibilitiesConduct physical counts of lumber across a 10-acre property.Manage and track inventory using Excel and other inventory management software.Verify that truck loads are correct and match inventory records.Manage production reporting and collaborate with operators to audit and maintain accuracy.Calculate waste to ensure efficient use of resources.Check reporting for errors and perform daily audits as needed.Perform basic math calculations to accurately calculate board measurements and plant supplies.Assist with phones, email inbox, and other clerical tasks as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in Excel and other inventory management software.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and tracking inventory.Excellent mathematical skills for precise calculations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in office management or inventory management in a manufacturing environment.Work Environment
This role operates in a blue-collar environment, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
