Office Manager
Description We are in search of an Office Manager to be part of our team in the banking industry, based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role entails overseeing all administrative tasks within the office, coordinating events, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day business activities. Responsibilities: • Oversee all administrative functions in the office, ensuring smooth operations on a daily basis. • Coordinate and oversee company events, including social and wellness programs. • Manage and maintain relationships with external vendors, acting as the primary point of contact. • Oversee the ordering and management of office supplies to ensure the office is well-stocked and organized. • Manage contracts for office equipment and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. • Handle expense report processing with accuracy and efficiency. • Facilitate the onboarding and orientation process for new employees, ensuring they feel welcomed and well-informed. • Assist in the planning and management of food and beverage services within the office. • Utilize your skills in Office Administration and Administrative Assistance to ensure a well-organized and efficient office environment. • Draw on your experience in Event Planning and Managing Vendor Relationships to ensure smooth operation of office events and vendor interactions. Requirements • Proven experience in Office Administration or similar role. • Demonstrable skills in Administrative Assistance including scheduling, correspondence, and reporting. • Proficiency in Ordering Office Supplies, ensuring the office is well-stocked and resourceful. • Experience in Event Planning, coordinating meetings, office parties, and other events. • Ability to Manage Vendor Relationships, including contract negotiation and ensuring timely delivery of services. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in using office software like MS Office Suite. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of banking industry standards and practices.
