Position SummaryResponsible for providing administrative support to the Plant Manager. Manage all daily, weekly and monthly administrative support and general accounting functions and operational financial analyses. Greenback Quarry2107 Big Hill Road, Lenoir City, TN 37772ResponsibilitiesPerform duties related to the following:  computerized records maintenance, office management, accounts payable/receivable, cash reconciliations, truck scale sales/shipping documentation, general ledger, production, finished goods/parts/supplies inventories, purchasing, and preparation of government and other regulatory reports as required.Assist in preparation of any reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial and variance results analyses.  Implement and maintain administrative procedures and internal controls in accordance with company policies and proceduresAssist with monthly forecast and month end close for each quarryAssist shop admin with data entry and enter/reconcile receiptsClear the AP invoices on holdPrepare monthly GL reconciliationsHelp maintain SOX compliancePerform other duties as assignedRequirementsCreate and inspire an atmosphere of teamwork with administrative and management staffMaintains professionalism in all situations in the workplace and when working with customers Must be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated Will take an active role in the plant safety initiativesMinimum Education and ExperienceExperience in office management or relevant experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated; able to work independentlyHighly proficient in MS programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)                                          Proficient accounting knowledge and skillsSolid negotiation and analytical skillsExcellent time management, planning, and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple tasksAbout Martin MariettaMartin Marietta is an American-based company and a leading supplier of building materials - including aggregates, cement, ready mixed concrete and asphalt.Safety FirstAt Martin Marietta, safety is first in everything we do.
