Description
American Endovascular a leader in the fields of Amputation Prevention, Endovascular, & Interventional Radiology is seeking a Medical Office Manager to join our team.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
+ As the Medical Office Manager, you will be an integral part of our administrative team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
+ Oversee the smooth operation of our Three (3) medical offices, ensuring efficient workflows and optimal patient experiences.
+ Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the medical office, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and diagnostic studies as well as minimally invasive procedure.
+ Working with providers schedules to ensure office hours are maximized for the patient schedules.
+ Collaborating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
+ Ensure the proper monitoring of inventory to support patient care and physicians needs.
+ Oversees and supports staff who accurately schedule appointments for physician according to practice requirements and needs and confirms appointments.
+ Approve the addition or deletion of positions as well as approve applicants for employment in new or vacant positions.
+ Develop employee productivity analysis and ensure efficiency of staff levels through increases or reductions in the work force as necessitated by changes in surgical case volume.
+ Implements a program of job-based orientation, training, and ongoing evaluation for all employees.
+ Provide educational opportunities for professional staff development.
+ Promote the implementation of positive customer relations by the employees and physicians.
+ Ensure front desk staff is collecting patient copays, coinsurance and deductibles and complete daily financial reconciliations.
+ Oversee the non-clinical staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, time, attendance, and training.
+ Responsible for the overall patient experience within the practice and ensuring continued improvement with the overall patient experience.
+ Continually evaluates staff performance regularly including verbal/written disciplinary action and annual performance reviews.
+ Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, safety, quality assurance programs, and compliance with all government and payers.
+ Collaborate with the Director of Operation to ensure the financial success of the centers.
+ Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

+ Three to five years of experience in a supervisory role with a strong background in healthcare and/or ambulatory surgery preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare management or healthcare related field preferred.
+ Computer skills include word processing, excel and PowerPoint.
+ Good analytical skills and an ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others including peers, subordinates, physicians, and their office staff.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to sit for long periods.
+ Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift, sit, stand, and walk.
+ Must be able to see, hear and speak English.
Working Environment:
In the work environment of the Center, there may be potential exposure to communicable diseases, contaminated blood and body fluids, and hazardous materials. In addition, fluoroscopy is utilized which may expose the employed to radiation. Also subject to long and irregular hours.
