Job Description

The Bookkeeping/Office Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial transactions, office organization, and administrative tasks. This is a hands-on position that involves balancing bookkeeping with general office management duties to support the company's operations and ensure smooth workflow.

ResponsibilitiesManage payrollEnter deposits and expenses into QuickBooksHandle accounts payable and receivableConduct job costing/WIPFile and pay monthly and quarterly liabilities, employer withholding, sales tax, and BWCReconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accountsPrepare customer estimates and invoicesTrack job flowEnter ordersPurchase materialsManage phone dutiesEssential SkillsProficient in QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2017 or other recent Desktop versionExperience with Windows 10, Excel, and WordStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain a positive attitude while working with deadlines, interruptions, and unexpected situationsReliable transportationAdditional Skills & Qualifications5 years of experience as an Office Manager/Office AssistantExperience with payroll processing and tax filingsExperience working in a small business or startup environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)Work Environment

The position is part time and based in an office environment for 3-4 days a week. Schedule and hours are flexible.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
