Job Description
Primary Location:
Anchorage, Alaska
Monday through Friday, typically 7 - 4
Starting pay $20.00 hourly
Full Benefits after 90 days
Beverage industry experience a Plus!
Office Manager:
Coordinates activities of clerical and other administrative support personnel by performing the following duties.
+ Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as typing, bookkeeping, time keeping, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
+ Reconciles accounts and bank statements for the organization. Works with the accounting department to solve for discrepancies and errors within the general ledger.
+ Evaluates office production, revises procedures, or devises new forms and procedures to improve efficiency of workflow.
+ Reviews office workflows, documents, and processes to insure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
+ Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
+ Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
+ Plans office layouts and initiates cost reduction programs.
+ Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.
+ Understands and maintains accounts payable workflows as well as performing system maintenance according to accounting procedures.
+ Manages and disburses petty cash for accounting department and assures that all locations are adhering to petty cash policies and procedures.
+ Orders and maintains office supplies for the accounting department. Performs regular AP/AR duties to fill in within the department.
+ Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises 10 non- supervisory employees. Directly supervises two or more non-supervisory employees. Responsibilities include inter- viewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires knowledge of office information systems including the use of personal computers and applications software for word processing, spreadsheets, and network communications.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic math and business math functions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
