Central Maine Healthcare is seeking an Office Manager to join their team at the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute!
This is a full time, benefits eligible position
Position Summary:
Has overall office administrative responsibility and supports the Practice Manager/and or Director in their absence. Is responsible to manage, monitor and maintain productivity, patient satisfaction, staff stability and satisfaction. Demonstrates and promotes the organization’s philosophy of excellent customer service and high-quality care.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma requiredAssociate Degree preferred2+ years of Customer Service experience required2+ years Office Coordinator or Health Care Administrative Assistant experience preferred5+ years of experience in medical billingPrevious experience with health insurance and patient billing requiredEssential Duties:
Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.Ensures that all staff provides the highest customer service.Monitors patient scheduling.Facilitates positive resolution of all patient complaints and inquiries.Facilitates cooperation between providers, clerical and clinical functions.Maintains a current awareness of third-party reimbursement regulations and contractual arrangements with HMOs and PPOs.Serves as a resource to others.Complete reports and statistics as requested by the Director.Maintains confidentiality and HR protocol for accessing confidential information.Performs other duties as assigned.What It’s Like Working At CMH:
