Office Service Associate (Floater)

Responsibilities:\n

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager in the Region, the Floater will provide coverage and assistance to our operations in the San Francisco and Oakland market where we provide shipping & receiving, front desk, light facilities and office services.

\u2022 Will cover positions in the mailroom or lobby or with the facilities team as needed.
\u2022 Must have great customer service skills, be reliable and self-motivated
\u2022 Act as first point of contact for clients and guests. Greets customers, vendors, job applicants, associates from other locations, and other visitors with high degree of professionalism and courtesy

\u2022 Maintain safe and neat appearance of office reception area.
\u2022 Take and relay messages; provide information and customer service to callers\/guests
\u2022 Coordinate Video conferences, reserve visitor offices and oversee communal office meeting spaces
\u2022 Submit Facility requests for items that need to be repaired.
\u2022 Receive, count and process all incoming items, letters and packages.
\u2022 Deliver packages to departments and cubicles using P.D.A system to scan and sign for packages.
\u2022 Prepare and package outgoing materials to prevent in-transit damage.
\u2022 Prepare all appropriate shipping documentation.
\u2022 Utilize postage machine to properly meter outbound mail.
\u2022 Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory.
\u2022 Deliver office supplies and copy paper and stock conference rooms and print copy stations.
\u2022 Ability to commute to locations located in downtown San Francisco and Oakland.
\u2022 Other duties as assigned.\n

Special Skills\/Requirements:\n

\u2022 High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
\u2022 1 to 2 years' experience in a corporate front desk or reception environment.
\u2022 1 to 2 years' experience in shipping & receiving or mailroom.
\u2022 Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and\/or must have reliable transportation.
\u2022 Exhibits superior verbal communication and phone skills.
\u2022 Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.
\u2022 Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.
\u2022 Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.\n
