Office Service Associate (Floater)

Responsibilities:\n\nCustomer Service & Reception: Ensure the customer service area is always staffed and functional. Provide reception coverage and handle client interactions\nMailroom & Office Support: Assist in all mailroom functions, including sorting, distributing, and handling mail.\nSupport various office services like copy requests and work tickets during coverage or lunch breaks.\nBackup for staff: Act as a backup for all office staff functions when needed, offering flexibility in adapting to changes in duties or coverage.\nMaintains records and files\nMust have good working knowledge of postal regulations\nMust have good working knowledge of computer basics\nPerform work in a backup capacity to all staff functions\nProvide problem resolution\nMay deal with difficult or irate customer periodically\nEnsures equipment is in good working order, equipment maintenance\nInterfaces with the client contact when required\nKeeps manager informed of operational efficiencies and potential problems\nMay be required to work overtime periodically\nAble to set priorities\nMust be flexible to adapt to changes\nMust demonstrate leadership qualities\nCover locations in the New York Metropolitan and\/or Tri-State Areas\nTravel when need based on coverage and needs\n\n

Special Skills\/Requirements\n\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\n1 to 2 year experience in a mail room or experience at FedEx and\/or UPS.\nProficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.\nAbility to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.\n
