Job Title: Office Services Clerk

(this position is on site working 5 days a week in the Denton Texas Support Center)

Essential Function

Roles and responsibilities included in this position include, pick-up, sorting and delivery of daily mail, Preparation of mass store mailings, office Pick-up and delivery of UPS and delivered packages and parcels. In addition, responsibilities include completion of in-house printing and copying projects, ordering and replenishment of copier supplies, providing daily re-stocking at copier stations throughout the corporate office.

Primary Duties

20% Prepares, sorts and fills departmental mail packs, payroll and mass mailings for scheduled mailing to fleet stores 20% Receiving, sorting and department delivery of incoming UPS shipments as well as office pick-up of packages to be mailed for corporate office associates. 10% Inventory, ordering and replenishment of copier supplies, ensuring daily re-stocking of paper and toner at each copier station throughout the corporate office. 20% Receiving, sorting and delivery of daily mail, ensuring hand delivery as well as pick=up of outgoing mail for each recipient. 20% Preparation and completion of major printing and copying projects. Also ensure all materials are packaged or placed in envelopes, scheduling mailing delivery timelines based of critical scheduled ETA of this information to the stores. 10% Planning and packaging of merchandising / marketing sample packages and mass mailings, ensuring proper box sizing and wrapping as required by merchandising / marketing team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High School Diploma or equivalent certification. Basic knowledge of mail / package services and shipping operations. Time management skills, able to follow a prepared schedule. Experience working in a corporate office services / mail / receiving environment.

Competencies / Attributes

Sense of urgency understands need for accuracy as well as adherence to a planned schedule. Good organizational and time management skills, able to manage multi-tasks during a typical work day. Good customer service skills, able to communicate well with customers, ensuring Office Service completes all tasks to the highest quality, as per the assigned timelines.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts, or machines; with irritant chemicals; etc. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, gowns, coats, boots, goggles, gloves, shields or hand sanitizer
